Around 2 weeks ago, after this post, I really got interested in bio hacking, especially implants.
I kinda wanted a magnet, to gain a new sense, but I didn't find a magnet that fits my requirements: to be a round, well tested, small, magnet implant with thin and biosafe coating.
There are plenty of magnets out there, I'm sure after some time, there will be a nice sensing magnet for me.
So, I had to get something else. When looking for implants (incl. magnets), you'll quickly find 'Dangerous Things', I trust them, so I preferred something from them for my first implant.
There is a lot of info on their biohacking forum, I took my time and around a week after reading posts about people who think they have been chipped by someone I decided to get a NExT.
Like most people, I'll use my implant for convinient access control. Opening doors and stuff like that.

I got the package yesterday, got it implanted today.
I also started taking vitamins yesterday, it's recommened for faster healing, but I should have started sooner.
The Installation
The installation should be easy, even alone, but I let a professional do it.
It shouldn't be too painful, but since I had the chance, I numbed the area. I hate big needles.
It works like shown in this video and is described in detail in this 10 page guide.
I'll probably make another post about this, but I'll just let my hand heal and hope everything stays clean. I think the positioning is ok, but I'll see where it ends up in about 2-4 weeks afaik.
sounds nice but isnt it trivial to distinguish it from regular views. i mean they track visibility of elements, mouse movements, static resources fetched with the ad link. maybe it worked once but now not so sure.
Theres malware tricking ad companies and clicking ads in the backgrounds, so, good bots will beat good bot detection.
But that's the main point against it, yeah, if they'd let everyone use the perfect bot, ad companies would try 2 detect them.
At least it creates traffic....
