Copyright, in my opinion, is very important, especially if the creator is not a large individual ;) Sometimes a photographer will take a photo that he will sell to a newspaper for $1,000 (or something) and by copying his work we can break copyright.
On Steem, people often warned against making money from someone else's work and it's possible that it's going to be like that in Zapread. That's why it's worth showing you Pixabay.com
Pixabay.com is a website with free images that can be used even for commercial purposes. Thanks to an intuitive search, in a few moments we will display all the photos we are interested in.
It is worth remembering that Pixabay does not like hotlinking, so you should copy the photo and upload it to the Zapread server (or another provider of photos).
I hope you enjoy the website :)
Thanks - that looks like a great resource! I know copyright is going to be a tricky thing to manage on Zapread. I think a combination of moderation and other automated systems will be needed to detect Copyright infringement.
Part of the problem is that we do not want users passing off copyrighted work as their own, while at the same time anything a user posts on Zapread will remain property of the user. Zapread will never take copyright from users unlike other social media websites.
It is something that we need more people to be aware of, but I also do not want it to cripple the UX of the website!
A very interesting problem. The problem is that the effectiveness of such systems is difficult to estimate, and the power of the computer that is required is large.
I made one myself on Steem, then 12th Intel threaded few seconds covered the entire database (with 4GB), but the code was in PHP (but multithreaded).
