Let's all be grateful that Hitler didn't learn this history lesson.

Yes we should be grateful that Hitler was not a student of history. The only real difference between Napoleon's invasion and Hitler's is that Napoleon actually captured Moscow, however briefly. The Russians did pretty much the same thing to Hitler as they did to Napoleon with the exception that they won the 1941 Battle of Borodino when they fought the Germans there.
