What a biased headline. The volume is from no fee market makers. It's not a trade on equal footing, but that does not make it a hoax!

Yes - I used to do this all the time. It's just spread betting. That's how you get liquidity in the market.
But why to do it? In the article there wasn't talked too much about possible motives. Liquidity is good but is fake liquidity the same thing?
You make money off of the volatility.
It is good in my opinion, that means only a fraction of bitcin is traded on the market. People hodl bitcoin because they see very high value in it. It's very good sign. I have never been so bullish.
