The manipulation of the mind and the evils of advertising are laid bare. Some of what you see here will leave you with open mouths.

Looking at the world today, you'll see, nothing has changed, from elections right through to products and i defy you to reach any conclusion other than Edward Bernays (Freuds nephew) is evil incarnate.

A very interesting lecture by Jeremy Rifkin. I watched it some time ago on Vimeo and it has now also been published on Youtube.
Rifkin also mentions the Blockchain technology and how it will be a part of the future sharing economy.

One of the challenges for Zapread is building an incentives system for posting quality content.  Any incentives system is hard to build because people will always try to game the system.

For Zapread, I am trying to build an incentives system such that the payoff for bad behavior is lower than good behavior.  The Nash equilibrium must be biased toward good behavior.  By having content voted down or up, and giving secondary and tertiary payouts (groups and communities), there is lots of incentive to not spam content.
