I'm finding quite a lot of interesting browser extensions lately.
AdNauseam is clicking on all ads that you blocked. It's based on uBlock Origin.
That's a more active apprach to mock advertisers than just blocking ads, kinda like trakkin.me.
If the software is good enough, it might even cost the advertisers some money, because they pay per click.
We all had dreams about this, and here it is. SponsorBlock.
An extension that skips over all those Brilliant, NordVPN and Nebula garbage.
It's community based, I kinda hoped it was an ML approach but it works. It works flawlessly until now.
This might get into my top 5 browser addons!
Top 3 here :D
Okay, now I want your list!
uBlock Origin, uMatrix and Buster.
nice, i only used uBlock Origin and I dont care about cookies
I dont care about cookies
uBlock Origin has a list, "EasyList Cookie" that's enough for me.
It's in the annoyances dropdown.
Recently, a friend introduced me to YouTube Vanced.
The name says it all, an advanced but ad free youtube client for android.
I love it, by default it removes the ads before videos, but leaves a banner ad below it.
Ad removal is the main reason I use it, but I was told it can do more.
There are many fake sites, I just hope that this is the correct one!
Now I use invidious on my PC and Vanced on my phone.
Nice :D I prefer Newpipe, cause it also support Peertube
The company Boston Dynamics has published a new movie on which we can see this interesting machine as a warehouse worker. The task of the robots is to be fast, efficient and economical transfer of shipments between different parts of the warehouse.
Jeff Bezos, the head of Amazon, recently announced that this type of robots he sees in future in his logistics centers scattered around the world, including Poland. At the moment, other robots are already working there, but with their abilities they are far from Handle.
The machine developed by people working now for SoftBank has been equipped with a set of suction cups, thanks to which it perfectly catches parcels weighing up to 15 kg (those from the film have 6 kg), moves them and arranges them in a specific place on pallets. Engineers say that the design and capabilities of Handle allow for efficient maneuvering and moving in narrow passages between shelves and pallets in warehouse halls.
I must admit that handle performs the tasks entrusted to him with great grace, for a machine with large dimensions. Just think that it will be constantly improved. The future of human warehouse workers is not drawn in pink colors. In the meantime, you'll see this freak in action.

The US army announced that for the first time will use the help of pocket drone to conduct reconnaissance and streaming of the obtained image - we have already learned about these hand-sized devices (15 cm in length) in February, but only this month the 82nd Airborne Division will have the opportunity to use with the possibilities of Black Hornets. If the deployment goes as planned, the soldiers will almost immediately gain the advantage and will cut through the trails for the introduction of these drones into the standard combat equipment.
The project called Black Hornet Personal Reconnaissance Systems cost the American army 39 million dollars, but it is fast to pay, because the capabilities of these small devices are truly spectacular - they are able to send their operators photos and stream video in near real time, even in difficult terrain locate enemies and often save lives.
The drones are also equipped with thermal imaging cameras, they are completely silent, have a range of 2 km and can fly for half an hour, and for this they weigh only 33 grams, so they do not constitute a burden for the soldiers. According to Ryan Subers, one of the sergeants trained to use the Black Hornet: - This technology can save lives, because it takes us from dangerous places and gives us the opportunity to evacuate in crisis situations, regardless of the type of mission. I am very grateful for such technologies and I am glad that we will be the first to use it.What's more, soldiers who have the opportunity to test equipment are impressed by its abilities: - With this system, you can identify enemies 100%, you can search for explosive materials and devices on your way and many more. If you are being fired from an area you can not see, you can send a drone to know the situation and not to enter the fire line. In short, it seems that we are opening another chapter in the history of military operations, although as we know it would be better not to have them at all.

It was here that dramatic events took place, which eventually led to the destruction of reactor 4 and the monstrous catastrophe at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Europe still feels its effects today.
The level of radiation in the control room, which was opened by the Ukrainian authorities to visitors, exceeds the standards there by up to 40,000 times. Despite this fact, staying there for about 5 minutes will not affect the health of daredevils in any negative way. Everyone will need to wear only a protective outfit, in the form of a white suit, mask and appropriate shoes. It is estimated that next year the control room and Chernobyl itself will be visited by well over 100,000 people.A few years ago, the Ukrainian authorities decided to change this gloomy and tragic stories place into a more life-friendly patch of our planet. After setting up a new sarcophagus that will protect Ukraine and the whole of Europe from the emission of radioactive substances for 100 years, you can now proceed with the plan to change this area into an environmentally friendly and open to tourists from around the world.
The main part of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone will remain closed for many years to come, but the world's largest solar and wind farms are to be built within it. Interestingly, the authorities want new cities to be built on its borders. After Chernobyl on HBO, interest in Chernobyl and its surroundings has grown so much around the world that the government cannot help but take advantage of this fact.

I enjoy travelling to exotic places - but I am still wary of radiation, even with "reduced" levels experienced there today.
Oh come on, the admission fee includes free full body x-rays! Not to mention that nice warm feeling you get inside as you stroll about the premises.
In order for people to be able to live on this hostile planet, it is necessary to create appropriate technologies with the help of which it will be possible to prepare appropriate materials and systems for the construction of the first objects. NASA and the University of Bradley launched an interesting competition some time ago. Now we find out that they have chosen the winner of the 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge project, dedicated to the development of housing for astronauts on Mars. This is one of the most important aspects of the conquest of Mars.
NASA reports that the best project was presented by the AI SpaceFactory team. In practice, the engineers presented what the 3D printing technology they created created, and even built one for testing purposes. The first Martian human habitat was created on a 1: 3 scale. Scientists do not hide that the first residential buildings will be created on the Red Planet thanks to this technology, because it will allow projects to be completed in a short time and with low financial outlay.
The construction of the habitat called MARSHA from AI SpaceFactory takes approx. 10 hours. The 3D printer is based on a mixture in which basalt fibers and bioplastics from plant starch are found. This means that the material is not only durable, environmentally friendly, and in the right conditions, fully biodegradable.
Engineers from New York decided that the best idea for a Martian colony would be bee hive inspiration. In each of these objects there will be a residential module, a laboratory, a kitchen, a storage room for equipment and a recreation room. Most importantly, the habitat will be equipped with windows for colonizers to have constant access to sunlight.
The AI SpaceFactory team is now planning to build a new base in the US state of New York. In this way, engineers want to show everyone that such objects can be built in the blink of an eye, for ridiculous money and in a fully ecological way. All visitors of the Mars habitats on Earth will be able to convince themselves that they are fully functional and will easily deal with even the most extreme weather conditions.
NASA intends to use future technologies developed by talented domestic engineers in the design of residential systems in manned missions to Mars, which are to take place at the end of the 2020s or in the early 2030s.

I'm afraid I don't know anything about it. It seems to me that the next 20-30 years will simply be a base on a planet where there will be a risk of death from outside.
I think we can also improve Mars to make this easier to do. We can give Mars a better atmosphere. See my post An Interesting Idea Towards Terraforming Mars.
The French world champion in watercraft races has successfully defeated the English Channel and will soon start a futuristic vehicle construction project that will set new historical records.
The 40-year-old fan of extreme sports secretly builds a unique flying vehicle with his team of exquisite engineers, which has never been seen before. It is supposed to be a sports car, which will reach the speed of about 400 km / h in the air and have a range of about 120 kilometers.
At the moment, little is known about him, but it is no secret that his first tests were successful. The invention is intended to have 10 electric motors. The Frenchman revealed that for the next two weeks he will be resting with his family after the hard struggles of a flight over the English Channel, and then he will work on completing his new flying love.
Zapata also revealed that the invention will be ready later this year. It is not clear exactly whether it will be another flying taxi, only in a sport version or a flying car that can take off from the parking lot. Either way, it definitely catches the attention of fans of extreme sports.

It is highly probable that we will see this unique vehicle officially during the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, which will take place next year. The Japanese announced that there will be the most phenomenal and technologically advanced devices in the history of mankind.
Interestingly, the French government became interested in Zapata's ideas, especially Flyboard Air. The local army financed the work on it and new vehicles with the amount of more than a million euros. We can therefore expect that soon the soldiers will be moving along futuristic vehicles from futuristic vehicles straight from sci-fi films.

Sakkada (French for jerking) is a quick, simultaneous movement of both eyes between two or more phases of fixation in the same direction. In contrast to smooth pursuit movements, eyes move smoothly instead of jumping. That's why it seems to us that the sphere in the picture is moving. **This is not .gif, to image .png
sounds nice but isnt it trivial to distinguish it from regular views. i mean they track visibility of elements, mouse movements, static resources fetched with the ad link. maybe it worked once but now not so sure.
Theres malware tricking ad companies and clicking ads in the backgrounds, so, good bots will beat good bot detection.
But that's the main point against it, yeah, if they'd let everyone use the perfect bot, ad companies would try 2 detect them.
At least it creates traffic....
